Wait What Does John Do Again????

I get this question a lot. I hope this helps explain things. John is a Lieutenant (Rank O3E, E means he was prior enlisted) in the U.S. Navy. He is leaving for Groton, Connecticut on Jan. 19th for SOAC (Submarine Officer Advance Course). We (Justin, in college, Matthew, in High school, AJ in preschool, and I) will stay in South Carolina until school is out. Justin will continue his studies in Columbia, SC and at the end of June, Matthew, AJ, & I will move to CT (if orders stick). John will graduate on June 29th. At that time, I "hope" to be in CT and ready to move into a rental home on the 1st of July. As of today, he has VERBAL orders to the USS Dallas, as the Engineer, where he will be spot promoted to a LT. Commander (O4). He will be a Department Head and third in charge of the boat because he is in charge of the nuclear reactor and all things engineering. We will be in CT until Matthew graduates from high school & Justin graduates from college, and then "a possible"  move to Portsmith, VA, so we may live in VA for a short time. After that, John will have a two year post Department Head shore duty, and who knows where that will take us. John has six years left before he can retire, and we will be doing a lot of moving in those months. Yep, by the time we are done moving we will have just enough stuff to fill a one bedroom apartment, LOL. Just kidding, I know this is a lot to take in, but if you should have any question feel free to call me. :))
